Ten Fun Ideas for a Safe Christmas With Kids

If 2020 was a movie character, which one would it be? I think it would be “The Grinch”! However, even amid the COVID-19 pandemic life goes on, and so must we. Check these ten fun ideas for a safe Christmas with kids.

The State of California has issued guidelines in order to handle these unprecedented times in a safe way, and even if it’s not ideally how we would like to spend the holidays I think it’s fair to say that if we all make a bit of an effort we can beat this pandemic together.

Now, hear me out. This doesn’t mean that our holiday season is ruined! C’mon! There are lots of fun things that we can still do with our kids and here I’m sharing my Top 10 Safe Activities to enjoy this season.

Of course, the options out of home are more limited but there’s some things you can enjoy as well, such as:

  • Drive around and see the holiday decorations and lights
  • Do some exercise (my daughters like to play basketball)
  • Build a snowman – if you live where there’s snow
  • Enjoy nature going for a walk
  • Have dinner in your backyard
  • Have coffee on your porch and say hi to your neighbors

It will be a fun season ya’ll!

Continue with your usual family traditions or start new ones! Just please, remember to choose safe and fun activities, wear your masks when needed, wash your hands for at least 30 seconds, and keep social distancing. It’s really not too much to ask, right?
