THIS MOM IS GOING PLACES

Market St. Helena Restaurant

After we visited Castello di Amorosa we headed to Market St. Helena Restaurant for dinner. Here we share with you our experience from a family standpoint.

We were walking around the area and decided to stop at this restaurant. This are our insights based on the following criteria.

Quality of Food: The food was great!  Ingredients looked fresh, flavors were on point, presentation was good and portions were appropriate.

Customer Service: Top Notch customer service. The waitress was very friendly and efficient with great attention to details.

Atmosphere: This place is very cozy.  The ambience is very nice, warm, and reminded me of Europe!

Prices: Prices are on the expensive side.  If you are on a budget I don’t think this is the place to go.  But I do think you get quality food and service for your bucks.

Parking: This restaurant has no parking. There are parkings with meter in the street though.

Kids Friendly: You can tell they don’t expect kids too often.  However, they tried to accommodate my kids needs.  They offered a small portion of the “very adult mac n cheese” and milk. They had crayons but didn’t have coloring pages yet they managed to provide paper for the girls to draw. In the restroom they don’t have diaper changing tables but they do have a counter space were you could easily manage to change a diaper.

Location: Centric.  We went for a walk in the area and decided to stop by.

Convenience: They offer a variety of payment options and they have take out boxes available. Short waiting time. They do make reservations and have gift cards available.

Menu Options: The variety of options is not huge. Nevertheless, I think there is a little bit for everybody. They have common items like hamburgers yet they have more gourmet options like the Pepper-Crusted Filet Medallions.  They do have a wide variety of beverages from wine to lemonade, great options for everybody. An area of opportunity is having a kids menu!

Cleaningness: The place looks clean and other details like the table clothes and silverware were neat as well. The restrooms were in good condition too.

It was a good experience overall.

Would I recommend it? Yes.

Would I go back? Probably, but I think I’d like to try other places as well.

  1. Looks like a fun place to eat. I haven’t been to the Napa Valley, and I’m sure there are no shortage of places to eat. This doesn’t look like they get a lot of kids, but it sounds like it was a nice experience regardless.

    1. Absolutely! They don’t have kids menu or coloring pages, but I really felt they did their best to make us feel comfortable. I always appreciate that. I hate places were I feel I’m not really welcome just because I have kids.

    1. Honestly the food is amazing! Everything was good! The ingredients were so fresh and everything was so tasty!!
      Thanks for your comment! 🙂

  2. Oh man, so many delicious choices in Napa Valley! It would be hard to go back somewhere unless you were absolutely in love
