Prior to visiting Busch Gardens, visit their website and buy your entrance and parking tickets in advance. Check the rides, shows and animal encounters that you would like to experience and check details like height limits, thrill level, etc.

2. Download the Busch Gardens App

Busch Gardens’ app is available for iPhone and Android. Download it prior to your visit and get familiar with it. It allows you to see waiting times, pre-order food, see show times, etc. My favorite feature is that it has the park’s map and it provide GPS-like walking directions. It really made our lives easier.

3. Get the All-Day Meal Plan

With Busch Gardens All-Day Meal Plan, you will save a lot of money. This plan includes an entrée, side or dessert and a drink every 90 minutes at participating restaurants throughout the theme park. Prices are $49.99 for “adults” (ages 10+)
and $24.99 for children (Ages 3-9). Child’s price includes kid’s meal entrees only.

4. Parking at Busch Gardens

Buy your parking tickets in advance to save time on arrival. General pre-paid parking tickets for Busch Gardens start at $30. You can get them online or using the app. Additionally, Parking for guests with disabilities is available in Lot A near the main entrance on a first-come, first-served basis. A valid parking permit is required for this designated area.

5. What to Wear for Your Visit to Busch Gardens

If you’re visiting in summer, then you will experience Florida heat and humidity at its finest. But don’t let that stop you from visiting this beautiful park. Just wear light clothes and good walking shoes. If planning on enjoying the water rides, then bringing dry fit clothes is a good idea. If you’re stopping by the splash pad at the Sesame Street section swimsuits are best. Additionally, don’t forget your towels, sunglasses, hats, sunscreen and lip balm. If visiting in fall or winter, just bring a jacket.

6. How do You Go About Strollers or wheelchairs in Busch Gardens?

If you have your own strollers or wheelchairs, you are allowed to bring them into the park. Rentals of strollers and regular wheelchairs are available near the front gate of the park in Morocco for $30. Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV’s) are also available for rent at $115. We decided to rent one of the EVCs for my mom and it was worth every penny.

7. Busch Gardens Military Deals

Exclusive pricing and promotions are available for active military members through the Busch Garden’s Waves of Honor program. For Veterans and retired members tickets are available at the ITT office at a discounted price in base or online. However, check the website before buying the tickets. Their special price is standard and sometimes Busch Gardens and SeaWorld have seasonal promotions at better prices.

8. Are Busch Gardens Shows Worth It?

Yes, don’t miss the shows! I was impressed by the quality of their productions and the talent of the performers. From figure skating to circus presentations, we really enjoy them all. Check the times beforehand and plan on arriving to each venue around 15 minutes in advance to secure your space.
