If the Disney on Ice – Follow Your Heart show is heading your town and you are trying to figure out if it’s worth it then this is for you!
I have two daughters, MM is 4 and Gigi is 2 years old. They are both into Disney movies and songs.
Having visited Disneyland and knowing Disney’s quality of shows we went to this event with high expectations.
The girls, of course wanted to dress up like princesses so MM, went dressed as Elsa (Frozen) and Gigi as Snow White.
We arrived to the venue, Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, 45 minutes earlier and it was perfect. We had enough time to buy popcorn and sodas and find our seats, take photos and go potty before the show. The prizes of the tickets were fair and had seats well located and with a great view.
The first half of the show featured the classic movies with characters such as Mickey and Minnie, Snow White, Cinderella, Belle and Rapunzel.
Then they took a 30 minutes break, which I appreciated because it’s the perfect time to go and grab some more snacks and take the girls potty.
The second part featured characters such as Nemo and Dory, Toy Story’s Sheriff Woddy and Buzz Lightyear, and my girls’ favorite: Frozen’s Elsa and Anna, among others.
The show is amazing!!!
It features high quality music, choreography and customs, aerial acrobatics and movable sets and props that add unique value to the experience.
Disney didn’t disappointed us at all. My girls had a blast! They enjoyed singing their favorite songs and at some points were ecstatic watching the beautiful ice skating routines.
I fully recommend you to check the schedule and give it a try if they are heading your way.

Sounds like an amazing show! My niece would love it! Hoping it comes to my town soon 🙂
We just went to Disney on Ice in December, it was a great show! We go every year as a family and it is one of our traditions.
Beautiful tradition! Something that kids and adults can enjoy!
When I was a kid, my family had an annual tradition of watching Disney on Ice every December in Manila, Philippines. Those were fun childhood memories. The last time I watched Disney on Ice was in 2012 in Washington, D.C. I hope my own kids will get a chance to watch Disney on Ice soon!
That would be super special if you could continue that tradition with your kids!
Wow! That would be such an experience. I am looking forward to being able to go to things like this for my son. So exciting!
When you are a mom and you attend with your kids you enjow the experience in a whole new level. Hopefully you will very soon! 🙂
We went at the golden 1 center too! 🙂 small world. Loved it!
We should coordinate and meet next time! LOL 🙂
Looks that you had an awesome day there and i love my daughter to see this too in live.
Do it! You are both going to enjoy it! ❤️
